This experience is perfect for history lovers and foodies alike!

This brand new talk will explore:

  • What were conditions like for the crew? What did they eat and drink, who prepared and served their food and what do we know about the ship’s cook. What tools did the cook have to hand?
  • Find out fascinating facts about food and drink on board; what did it taste like, was it nourishing and did the crew really only drink beer, and what tools did the cook have to hand?
