MARY AND ROSE GO FREE COMPETITION FULL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. The promoter is: The Mary Rose Museum (the “Promoter”).
  2. The event will run from 9 a.m. until 4:30pm on Wednesday 11th October 2023.
  3. A free one day pass will be issued for the Mary Rose Museum valid on Wednesday 11th October 2023 only.
  4. The one day pass will be issued to any person on proof of photographic identity of having a first name of “Mary”, “Rose” or “Mary Rose”.
  5. Acceptable forms of photographic ID are: Passport, Driving License, ID card, staff ID card. In circumstances where photographic ID is unavailable, we will accept two forms of ID such as bills, council tax bill, credit/debit cards.
  6. Entry is subject to availability. There is no cash alternative available. You cannot transfer your ticket to an alternative day or to a third party. The event is free to enter and no purchase is necessary.
  7.  The Promoter reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the activity.
  8. Ticket entry is non negotiable or transferable to another venue or another person and must be either collected from Portsmouth Historic Dockyard Visitor Centre.
  9.  Your entry ticket may not be claimed by a third party on your behalf.
  10.  The Promoter does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the offer.
  11.  Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the entrant or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the offer except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
  12. The Promoter will only process your personal information as set out in the privacy-notice on the Portsmouth historic dockyard website https://historicdockyard.co.uk/cookies-and-privacy/ .
  13. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the activity.
  14. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the activity where it becomes necessary to do so.
  15. These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
  16. By participating in this activity, you agree to being photographed as part of the event and your image used across our social channels. If you wish to not be photographed, please let our teams know on the day.
