Get hands on with traditional ship-building tools and see if you can tell your bends from your bowlines, with practical knot-tying displays. 

See 200 years of naval engineering unfold as you experience the evolution of the iconic Dreadnought class, the fearsome heroes of the Royal Navy’s battlefleet, from the perspective of the ordinary people who lived and worked in Portsmouth Dockyard.

The Dockyard Apprentice puts you at the heart of naval ingenuity and innovation as you witness how the Dreadnought class came to be and how those that built them rose to the challenge of revolutionising the Royal Navy.
