February Half term at the Dockyard

This February, discover a world of STEM related fun at the National Museum of the Royal Navy and kick off the Portsmouth 100 centennial celebrations in style at the Mary Rose Museum.

Kicking off the Portsmouth 100 centennial celebrations with the start of the Tudor year, come along and mark Candlemas at the Mary Rose Museum over the half term. Make your own 16th century-style papercraft candle holder and meet the Tudor Housewife and characters from the Cowdray Engraving in interactive and immersive performances. Find out all about how the folk of Tudor Portsmouth banished the winter gloom and brought light into their homes!
