Join us at the Mary Rose Museum on the 20 July and make your own Tudor inspired pottery piece. Working with local pottery studio Fatclay Pottery, learn from the experts – no previous pottery experience needed!
Start your day with a talk from Dr Alex Hildred, Head of Research at the Mary Rose Trust, discussing the pottery pieces found on the wreck site. Then enjoy a guided tour of the museum with one of our expert team. After a morning of inspiration and a lunch break, it’s time to get creative! Learn to sculpt clay, creating your own piece based on our collection but with your own individual style and vision.
Please note that while we are able to provide tea and coffee no lunch will be provided.
