Join our Collections Team for this ‘behind the scenes’ tour of the Storehouse 12 Collections Centre with a specific focus on objects, documents and images that tell the story of the people involved in the D-Day landings 80.
You’ll encounter rare and historically significant objects and documents, typically unseen by the public, and learn how the museum preserves our Naval heritage. As the world marks the 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings, meet a curator who will share stories and artifacts, revealing the Royal Navy’s crucial role in this pivotal operation.
Tour times are at 2pm & 3pm on 6 September 2024.
