Our Local Residents discounted tickets can be purchased either online through our website, at the entrance of Portsmouth Historic Dockyard in the Visitor Centre. Alternatively, you can also purchase the discounted tickets at the Royal Navy Submarine Museum and the Explosion Museum of Naval Firepower both based in Gosport.Â

ARE THE TICKETS VALID FROM PURCHASE DATE OR FIRST USE?
For tickets purchased online they are valid from the first time they are scanned at the Visitor Centre, Portsmouth Historic Dockyard, Explosion Museum of Naval Firepower, Gosport, or the Royal Navy Submarine Museum, Gosport.
Tickets purchased in person on the day are valid from point of purchase. Tickets can be purchased from the Visitor Centre, Portsmouth Historic Dockyard, Explosion Museum of Naval Firepower, Gosport, or the Royal Navy Submarine Museum, Gosport.    
IF I'M A LOCAL RESIDENT, CAN I PURCHASE TICKETS FOR NON-LOCAL RESIDENTS?
As this offer is intended for local residents, tickets may only be purchased for visitors that have a PO or SO postcode. If you have guests in your group who reside outside of these postcodes, they will need to purchase a ticket at the normal rate.   Â
I AM A LOCAL RESIDENT: I HAVE ALREADY PURCHASED AN ULTIMATE EXPLORER TICKET CAN I STILL GET THE SAVINGS?
Unfortunately, we cannot apply a discount on tickets that have already been purchased. This is in line with our ticketing terms and conditions

You may purchase a maximum of 5 individual tickets (adult, child, or senior) or 1 family ticket (2-adult family or 1-adult family).   
I AM A LOCAL RESIDENT; CAN I PURCHASE TICKETS FOR ANOTHER LOCAL RESIDENT
Yes, just make sure to enter your own billing details, and then the ticket holder names at the end of checkout. 
WHAT PROOF OF ADDRESS WOULD BE NEEDED?
As proof of address, visitors should bring valid Photo ID which evidences a PO or SO postcode.
Alternatively, we will accept an official named document (such as a utility bill or bank statement) dated in the last 3 months which shows residence in a PO or SO postcode. Please present this alongside a valid bank card in the visitor’s name.
