Step aboard HMS Warrior, located in Portsmouth Historic Dockyard, for a truly nautical celebration commemorating the Battle of Trafalgar and the legendary HMS Pickle – the fastest ship at Trafalgar, which carried news of victory, and the loss of Admiral Lord Nelson, back to British shores.
Enjoy an immersive evening below decks featuring traditional mess-table dining, sea shanties, naval banter, and enthusiastic audience participation. Proceedings are led by your lively Master at Arms, Martin Jakeman, who brings the stories, etiquette, and humour of the lower deck vividly to life.
Guests are organised into Gun Crews at each table, led by a Gun Captain, with individual roles assigned to give everyone a taste of life as a sailor. Expect camaraderie, controlled chaos, and plenty of laughs.
